Portland Council operates the PTA Clothing Center to assist students at Portland Public Schools with clothing needs. Over 2000 students were served last school year. All work is performed by volunteers and with generous donor assistance.

Leaders and community members, do you know someone who wants a new career helping kids? First Student is looking for new drivers! THere is another plus- If a PTA successfully recruits a school bus driver and the driver completes the training course and 90 working days, then First Student will write a check for $500 to your school. Portland Council operates the Student Aid Fund to assist Portland Public School students with eyeglasses, shoes and other clothing items that cannot be found at the Clothing Center.
